A Journey Through- Art, Technology, and Leadership

Thank You, for showing your interest to know more about me. Hi, This is Arabinda Jena – a storyteller who discovered that the most fascinating narratives often emerge from the intersection of art, technology, and human experience.

The Beginning

My story begins with code and pixels. Armed with degrees in Computer Applications and Information Science from prestigious institutions like Biju Pattanaik University of Technology and Ravenshaw University, I started my career as a software developer. I built hotel management systems, worked on government healthcare platforms like Jana Ausadhi, and mastered everything from Visual Basic to Oracle databases. But something was calling me beyond the screen of a computer.

The Creative Awakening

In 2006, I took a leap that would define my life – I stepped into the world of Odia cinema. What began as curiosity evolved into a passionate 19-year journey through the entertainment industry. From my early days learning the craft to working on over 15 feature films, including the Hindi movie Zwigato, I discovered that storytelling was my true calling.
Television became another canvas for my creativity. I've been part of 19+ shows, from popular series like Rajaneeti and Singhadwara to meaningful projects like Laxmi Purana. Each role taught me something new about human nature and the power of visual storytelling.

Behind The Camera

While acting filled my heart, directing gave me a voice. I've had the privilege of creating award-winning content, including a nationally recognized short film about differently-abled individuals for the Government of Odisha in 2025. I've also worked as an assistant director on international projects, including a Hollywood advertisement for Uber Taxi Services.
My directorial work often focuses on social impact – from COVID-19 awareness campaigns to educational initiatives. I believe cinema has the power to not just entertain, but to educate and inspire positive change.

The Digital Era

Recognizing the shift toward digital content, I spent eight years as Content & Operations Head for a YouTube channel, where I learned the nuances of digital audience engagement and content strategy. This experience, combined with my technical background, allows me to approach modern content creation with both creative vision and analytical precision.
For two years, I served as a Senior Agency Manager at Aditya Birla Capital, where I apply my diverse skill set to business growth and client relationship management – proving that creativity and business acumen can beautifully coexist.

Continuous Learning

Education has always been my companion. I hold an MBA from Sikkim Manipal University and am currently pursuing a Master's in Journalism & Mass Communication from OSOU, Odisha. I believe that in the rapidly evolving world of media and technology, learning never stops.

My Mission Today

Today, I stand at the crossroads of multiple worlds – technology, cinema, digital content, and business. My unique journey allows me to approach every project with a multifaceted perspective, whether I'm acting in a film, directing a commercial, developing content strategy, or managing business operations.
I'm fluent in Odia, English, and Hindi, which helps me connect with diverse audiences across India and beyond. My work spans from corporate campaigns for brands like SBI Life and Kutchina to government awareness programs, always with the goal of creating content that resonates and makes a difference.

As I continue this journey, I'm excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. The convergence of technology and storytelling offers endless opportunities to create meaningful content that can reach and impact people across the globe.
